FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
These are some of our most frequently asked questions. Please fill out the form below for one of our Career Advisors to call you to answer any further questions you have and to help you get your new career journey started.
Are your courses accredited?
Yes, they must be! We are an APMG, PeopleCert and BCS authorised training centre and each course is either APMG, PeopleCert or BCS accredited. It is also an ELCAS requirement that you only study official, accredited courses that are approved by ELCAS. All ELCAS approved courses we offer are UK accredited and follow UK methodology and practices.
Can I use these qualifications outside of the UK?
The courses are UK accredited and internationally recognised. PRINCE2 for example is the most widely used Project Management methodology across the globe.
Practical Experience?
After you have passed 3 exams, you then project manage a virtual project where you get assessed on key areas of project management. This brings together everything you have learned and gives you the opportunity to apply your new skills.
How does your job guarantee work?
Project Managers are found in all sectors managing a variety and different sizes of projects. From a small project to massive projects like the Olympic Games. One project team can have 10 people or a few hundred. The UK has a shortage of security cleared project management staff at all levels. This package also makes you desirable for other roles like Coordinator roles, Account Management and even Senior Administration roles. For these reasons, we know that once you have completed this package it is easy to help you find a suitable role. In the unlikely event that you have gained your first 3 certifications, have passed your project assessment and do not secure a job placement within one year of passing your final exam, we will refund your 20% contribution you paid towards your studies.
I’m already working, can I study around my current job?
Yes, this study and job programme is designed for HM Forces personnel looking to start a new career in civvy street in addition to ex HM Forces personnel that may be working in jobs not aligned to their career goals.
Once I complete my studies, can I study further?
Yes, there is a second tier of ELCAS approved Practitioner courses you can study after completing the foundation courses. It is highly recommended that if you want to become a Project Manager capable of managing projects, then you need the skills and knowledge learned from the Practitioner courses. Foundation level qualifications are good to open doors and get you working in a project team in a Project Support, Junior Project Manager, or similar role.
Can you tailor a study package for me?
Yes, we can tailor an ELCAS approved study package for you based on your experience level and taking into consideration studies you have already completed
